This is a controversial subject, but it's important for everyone to know where their congressional leaders stand on gun policy. As citizens, one of the only things we can do to make sure our reps are actually representing us is to contact them and act with our votes.
The data on gun deaths comes from the Gun Violence Archive, but it's incomplete because the non-profit organization is unable to count suicides, which are more difficult to track because they're not often reported by law enforcement and the media. Also, the total gun deaths per state might be higher than the total of all state districts, because some deaths were linked only to the state and not a specific congressional district.
