Get iPhone 7 Plus Zoom Feature with this Android Phone
Asus has introduced the new ZenFone 3 Zoom, the successor to the last years ZenFone Zoom. The 2016 ZenFone Zoom, a terrible looking device, had rolled a special trick up its sleeves- a 3X Optical Zoom lens. However, the new 2017 ZenFone 3 Zoom is cutting down on the gimmick part yet trying to provide a smartphone with zoom capability.
Instead of placing an ugly circular bulge on the rear of the phone to support zoom lens, Asus is taking a new approach this time. The Taiwanese multinational has conveniently adopted the dual-camera setup found in iPhone 7 Plus. It is a blessing for those looking to buy a great camera phone without spending a bomb. Asus brings 2.3x optical zoom and improved digital zoom through the ZenFone 3 Zoom.

Like the iPhone 7 Plus, the Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom also has a dual camera setup. One is a f/1.7 aperture-25mm wide- angle lens, while the second one is a 59mm lens with a 2.3x optical zoom. Both of the cameras have a 12-megapixel resolution as well. Asus also claims the camera system is capable of producing high-quality digital zoom and shallow depth of field- like the iPhone 7 Plus.
Apart from the camera, the phone is powered by the power-efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 and boasts a mighty 5,000mAh battery. Asus claims the phone will provide 42 days of standby time. However, with a 5.5-inch 1080p display, I am not sure whether it will provide an extraordinary battery life.

The phone has a unibody metallic build and will be launched in February. More details like the RAM, pricing and storage options are yet to be revealed. However, if you are someone who is fascinated by the iPhone 7Plus' zoom feature, then this may be the phone for you to get that experience without breaking your bank.
