Useful Hacks to Remove Stains From Stainless Steel Utensils

Stainless steel has been time and again proven to be the best cooking utensil. However, it has the ability to get stained or burnt from bottom very easily. So, here are some useful hacks to clean your stainless steel vessels.

Use vinegar and water
Due to lot of boiling, stainless steel vessels tend to get calcium deposits at the bottom. The best way to remove this is to mix one third vinegar to three parts water. Keep the moisture for a while and rinse off with warm water.

Use tomato ketchup or puree
This is a trick that works well on copper bottom steel pans. Just apply some ketchup to the bottom and leave it for ten minutes. After that you can easily scrub it off.

Use hot boiling water
On a daily basis, when food or milk gets burnt and stuck to the bottom, you can simply remove it with hot boiling water. Just pour hot water and let it sit till the water reaches room temperature. Then use your regular scrubber and clean it off at once.

Use baking soda and water
Add water to your burnt pan and place it on your burner. Then add 2 tablespoons of baking soda. What baking soda does is bring cut the dirt from the pan. The dirt or stain will come off easily. Even if some stain stays, it can be removed with a scrubber.
