5 DIY Perfumes You Can Easily Make At Home


Perfumes are one of the most essential daily needs for men and women, especially in summer. This is probably one of the rarest things that nobody can live without. Perfumes aren't just a spray to keep you body odour off, rather it is counted as a luxury choice for elegant people.
If some surveys are to be believed, some perfumes are really toxic. Finding a herbal perfume with fantastic aroma isn't really available. So what's the way out?
We have some DIY perfume recipes for you. Yes, all you would need is some essential oils.

Grapefruit perfume
7 drops of Grapefruit oil
4 drops of Ylang Ylang oil
Fractionated Coconut oil (zero smell)
Roller Bottle
Process
Mix grapefruit and Ylang Ylang oil into a 5 ml roller bottle with the non smelling coconut oil or sweet almond oil.
Store in a cool place in a dark coloured bottle for 1 week.

Lime Perfume
7 drops of Jasmine oil
4 drops of Lime oil
Fractionated coconut oil or sweet almond oil
Process
Mix Jasmine oil and Lime oil into a 5 ml roller bottle with the non smelling coconut oil or sweet almond oil.
Store in a cool place in a dark coloured bottle for 1 week.

Lavender Perfume
5 drops of Lavender oil
3 drops of Vetiver oil
Fractionated coconut oil or sweet almond oil
Process
Mix Lavender oil and Vetiver oil into a 5 ml roller bottle with the non smelling coconut oil or sweet almond oil.
Store in a cool place in a dark coloured bottle for 1 week.

Herbal Perfume
12-20 drops each of these Base Essential Oils like Ylang Ylang, Cedar wood, Vanilla, Vetiver and Sandalwood
1 tsp of vanilla extract
25-30 drops of middle tone oils like Rose, Lavender, Chamomile or Geranium
Some medicinal spirits
Process
Mix all oils in an opaque bottle.
Shake and keep in cool dark place.
Let is stay for some days.

Solid Perfume
1 and 1/2 tbsp beeswax beads
1 and 1/2 tbsp olive oil
40 drops essential oil
Process
Fill the pan with 1/2 cup water. Place it on a burner, and turn the heat to medium. Put the beeswax beads in a glass bowl and place inside the pan. Once it's melted, mix in the olive oil. Let it continue to melt for five minutes. Next, remove the glass bowl from the pan, then very quickly, stir in the essential oil and pour it into the final container. Remember that the essential oil will smell very strong at first but will fade to softer scent once it's dried within the perfume.
