Conduct a Self-Interview to Discover Your New Year's Resolutions

While we have discussed some of the best strategies to stick to your resolutions, you still need to know how to come up with the resolutions that matter most to you. Personal growth coach Maria Molfino has a creative solution: interviewing yourself!

A self-interview is a free-associative interview with yourself. You are both the interviewer and the interviewee.

Take out a journal or open a word document. In the case of Body and Wellness, answer the question: When does my body feel good? What makes me feel most well? When did my body feel the best in 2013?

Wellness is just one aspect and you could apply the technique to any sphere of your life, whether personal or professional. The key is not to judge what comes up in the interview and keep it natural, like you're talking to a friend. It doesn't take much time either; Molfino clocked her self-interview at two minutes. Talking to yourself is actually healthy, so give it a shot.
