Take Jeff Bezos's Advice For Success and Consider 80-Year-Old You
There's no denying that
an interview earlier this month
at festival Summit LA17, Bezos said when it comes to making all those life-altering decisions, he made up his mind by projecting his like "forward to age 80." From there, he said that he would take the path that minimized his regrets, which would often make the correct choice obvious.
It's advice that's worked for him so far in his life, and isn't the worst advice to implement personally. If you avoid regrets in your decisions, then you're likely to be much happier with the choices you make.
Just ask yourself: What would old me think of this? And choose accordingly.
