If you're looking to get your finances in shape, there's no shortage of books to read that can help. Last week we asked you for the ones you thought were the best , then looked at the five best personal finance books and put them to a vote. Now we're back to highlight your favorite.

Most Popular Personal Finance Book: Dave Ramsey's Total Money Makeover

Cult of personality or no, the majority of you-45% roughly-decided that The Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey was your favorite personal finance book of the five we put head to head. Many of you praised his concrete plans, step-by-step financial advice, and depth of knowledge for helping you get your money in order.

In second place with 23% of the overall vote was I Will Teach You To Be Rich by Ramit Sethi , a book we've reviewed here at Lifehacker by a columnist you've probably seen offer his financial tips here before. Third place and just shy of 16% of the vote went to George Clason's The Richest Man in Babylon , a set of financial parables set in ancient Babylon, but just as relevant today. Fourth place went to Vicki Robin and Joe Dominguez's Your Money or Your Life , with over 11% of the votes cast. Finally, bringing up the rear with 5% of the vote was Beth Koblinger's Get a Financial Life , a book aimed squarely at young people and helping them get and stay out of debt.

The Hive Five is based on reader nominations. As with most Hive Five posts, if your favorite was left out, it didn't get the nominations required in the call for contenders post to make the top five.
