How to Protect Yourself From Keyloggers
Even after taking care of this issue, it's not a bad idea to be on guard against any keyloggers that might target you in the future. MakeUseOf has a few smart suggestions that should keep you protected just in case.
You can use a password manager (you probably should be using one already) so you don't have to type out passwords for every site-that way the keylogger has nothing to record. You could also use a firewall to block the keylogger from transmitting data from your computer to another location. At the very least, make sure you change your passwords on a regular basis so that if you do get hacked those stolen passwords won't necessarily work.
