As December creeps to a close, perhaps you're looking forward to some time off from work to veg out at your parents' house, or take a vacation before the New Year.

But if you're lucky enough to get some time off at the end of the year, it's ok to actually take that time off and enjoy your vacation. Spend some time with your family and friends. You'll still be able to hustle in the new year.
That's not to say there aren't certain things you can do to better yourself if you have some time off. You could work on your resume , start getting your finances in order , or even teach yourself to relax . Personally, I plan to bake a lot of cookies, read a half-dozen paperbacks , and not check Twitter.
